BEDFORD — The Bedford North Lawrence JV baseball team took its record to 8-7 with a 6-1 victory over the Providence Pioneers Monday night at BNL Field. The Stars put together a solid team effort as they rolled on to a four-game win streak. Kyler Sherrill got the win on the mound for the Stars with an outstanding pitching performance as he struck out 10 and only walked two in six innings. Mason Mack shut down the Pioneers in the seventh, striking out two of the three batters he faced. 

Jarod Deckard led the Stars offensively, going 3 for 3 with three RBIs. Alex Jones went 2-2 with and RBI and run scored. Caleb Bowman. Dakota Terrell, Johnny Underwood, Mason Mack, Jacob Bergman and Sherrill all had hits for BNL. The Stars travel to Jennings County today for an HHC battle with the Panthers starting at 5:30 p.m.
