Gates and Chastain Earn PBR Indiana All-State Honors

The postseason accolades continue to roll in for the BNL Stars!

Congratulations to Cam Gates and Cutler Chastain on being named to the 2026 PBR Indiana All-State Team. Both players earned Second Team All-State (All Classes) honors while also being selected to the Class 4A First Team All-State squad, recognizing them among the top high school baseball players in Indiana.

These honors are a testament to the tremendous seasons both Stars put together and the impact they had on one of the most successful seasons in Bedford North Lawrence baseball history.

Cam Gates Selected as a Class 4A Utility Player and one of Indiana's Top Catchers, Gates proved to be one of the state's most complete players, excelling in all facets of the game: in the field, at the plate and on the mound. 2026 Season Highlights Pitching 5 Wins 46 Innings Pitched 1.82 ERA 67 Strikeouts Hitting .476 Batting Average .560 OBP 1.036 OPS 40 Hits 29 Runs Scored 4 Home Runs Cam's ability to dominate offensively while serving as one of the Stars' top pitchers and catchers made him one of Indiana's premier two-way athletes throughout the season.

Cutler Chastain One of the most dominant pitchers in Indiana, Chastain anchored the BNL pitching staff while also providing offensive production throughout the season. 2026 Season Highlights Pitching 4 Wins 42 Innings Pitched 1.98 ERA 83 Strikeouts Hitting .301 Batting Average 22 Hits 16 Runs Scored 3 Home Runs Cutler's ability to overpower hitters on the mound while contributing offensively helped lead the Stars to an outstanding 2026 campaign.

A Season to Remember

These All-State selections add to an already impressive list of accomplishments for Gates and Chastain during the 2026 season. Their leadership, work ethic, and consistent performances helped lead BNL to one of the finest seasons in program history and further cemented the Stars as one of Indiana's premier baseball programs.
