Tanksley, Bedford North Lawrence’s senior catcher, bashed out four hits as the Stars rumbled past Edgewood 12-5 during high school baseball action on Thursday. In lieu of our Cow Pie Bingo fundraiser (due to unpredictable weather), we have decided to host a March Madness Squares fundraiser for the NCAA Championship Game. This will coincide with our Annual Victory Challenge, and players will earn points for their team for each March Madness square they sell.
Each square is $20, with proceeds raised going to the BNL Baseball program to help cover costs, while $1,000 will go to two lucky winners! All square purchasers will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win BNL spring sport passes and BNL Baseball swag gear!!!... more >>

Cam Gates invited to IHSBCA 2025 Futures Games

Sophomore Cam Gates has been selected to participate in the 2025 IHSBCA Futures Games.
Each summer the Indiana High School Baseball Coaches Association holds its annual North – South All-Star Series for the top seniors in the state. As a part of this experience, the IHSBCA hosts a Futures Games event on the Wednesday preceding the three-day all-star weekend. This year’s Futures Games will be on Wednesday June 25 at Loeb Stadium in Lafayette, Indiana beginning at 9:00 AM EST. (registration begins at 8:30 AM).

Bedford North Lawrence senior Cal Gates, who verbally committed to Indiana University over two years ago, finally made it official, signing with the Hoosiers during a ceremony in BNL Fieldhouse on Friday evening. Cal and Cam Gates earned high marks this summer playing for their respective teams.
Cam made the 15U Midwest Stars USA Baseball squad for the USA NTIS program. The 15U Midwest Stars team finished 2nd in the USA NTIS National Cup Championship. Cal was selected to the 2024 East Coast Pro baseball showcase as well as made the championship round in the 2024 WWBA World Championships in Jupiter, FL.... more >>

Woodward named BNL’s male Athlete of the Year

Woodward earned All-Hoosier Hills Conference honors in football as a two-way starter at linebacker and offensive line, totaling 82 tackles and averaging 44.5 yards per kick as a punter as BNL went 7-4. In baseball, Woodward was named to the HHC First Team while hitting .412 with 2 home runs and a team-high 32 RBIs. He also went 5-3 on the mound with a 2.29 ERA while striking out 56 in 45 2/3 innings.... more >>
