Congratulations to Cam on being selected to the 2026 Indiana High School Baseball Coaches Association (IHSBCA) Class 4A Second Team All-State. This prestigious recognition is voted on by Indiana high school baseball coaches and honors the state`s top performers from the 2026 season.

Congratulations to Cam Gates and Cutler Chastain on being named to the 2026 PBR Indiana All-State Team. Both players earned Second Team All-State (All Classes) honors while also being selected to the Class 4A First Team All-State squad, recognizing them among the top high school baseball players in Indiana.

From capturing the first Hoosier Hills Conference Championship in program history to making to the Sectional Championship Game, this group represented our school, community, and program with pride. Bedford North Lawrence catcher Cam Gates announced his verbal commitment to the Boston College Eagles baseball program on May 9, 2026, giving the Stars another Division I commitment from a player who has become one of the state’s premier two-way athletes.
Gates has been a cornerstone of the Bedford North Lawrence baseball program for the past three seasons, earning varsity letters in each of his first three years while establishing himself as one of the top catchers in Indiana.

Stars avenge their darkest day with thrilling 2-1 victory over Floyd Central in sectional semifinal
With Gates holding court, with clutch hits from Gates and Cutler Chastain that produced key runs, the Stars slid past nemesis Floyd Central with a thrilling 2-1 triumph in the Class 4A sectional semifinal on Saturday afternoon. BNL (15-9) advanced to the championship to face Jeffersonville on Monday night.
